I enjoyed the series. It was very interesting, unlike any other reality show!

Interesting. Especially as I chose the losing pitch about 80% of the time. Could watch more of them.
  • Not just for fans of Advertising!

This show is based on ad agencies however it's more about how a group of people come together to execute and idea and a solution.

Episode 5 was really well done.

This is as real as it gets. It's a great way to discover ad agencies in north america, (you never know when you would need one). The only thing I did not enjoy is that you don't really know why a client disliked an idea. But notice how "The Medium is the Message" rings well on that final decision, meaning that, for Mr Joe Client, an edited video wins over an old fashioned "pitch" with storyboards and mouth sound effects anytime.
  • Why The PItch is no Mad Men

I get it. I do. AMC figured, Mad Men has been such a hit for us, let's do a modern day version with real agencies and real clients. Go inside. Give people a glimpse of the real drama that goes on in the advertising world. What they didn't take into account is that Mad Men is as compelling for the era it unfolds in at least as much as it is for Madison Avenue itself. The 60s were arguably one of the most chaotic times in American history, with enough drama to fuel a hundred shows. I work in advertising. And I have nothing but the greatest admiration for the men and women that appear weekly on The PItch. But the real reality is, advertising as we know it right know, while often exciting for those of us who work in this business, is a real snore for the average viewer.

Emotion 100% . I connected with each person in this episode . I feel what they are feeling everyday . It's nice to see the real side of marketing for a change. Having an idea that you are totally connected to torn up right in front of you is the hardest part for me. Awesome episode can't wait till the next episode.......

Any fan of Mad Men should like this show, but even if you don't watch Mad Men, The PItch is still fun to watch.
  • True to life

Great show! This is dead on with how things work in the realm of advertising.
