Description

Travel deep into the strange and mysterious with Paranormal Research Society (PRS) founder Ryan Buell and his team of investigators as they attempt to unravel inexplicable paranormal phenomena including sixth-sense experiences, ghost sightings, demonic disturbances, and brushes with the darkest areas of the unknown. In Season Four, the PRS travels to New Jersey, where a couple believes spirits in their home are influencing their behavior; North Carolina, where the team attempts to stop the force allegedly causing violent outbursts in a 3-year-old girl; and northern Pennsylvania, where guests are fleeing a famous hotel due to frightening reports of paranormal activity. Founded by Buell in 2001, the PRS works on cases across the country and is one of the most recognized paranormal societies in the nation. Through the use of Electronic Voice Phenomenon (EVP) recordings and video documentation, and with the help of renowned psychics, demonologists, psychologists and counselors, the PRS explores these bizarre cases in the hopes of helping frightened people who have nowhere else to turn.

just started to watch this show. at first i was like really ghost hunters with College kids but i really dig it way Better theN Ghost Hunters on SYFY and ghost Avd with Zak,Nick,aaron maybe tied on that but if you got pick an ep to watch. WATCH SIX great eps yes it is fake but really goood way

i just absolutely love that this group actually tries to help everyday people. they arent just out looking for evidence to make a name for themselves, they are out there to help people. its also great that they respect each individual case for their religious beliefs and treat the case as such. great work prs

I watched seasons 1 and 2 of this show and really enjoyed them. I missed season 3 and skipped to 4. I am having a hard time understanding the transition from all of the night-vision dramatic clips to the conclusions, which mostly rely on a priest sprinkling holy water and everything is solved. Im not religious, and maybe I missed something in season 3...but what is going on? How is there a demon in almost every episode? Why is almost every victim a catholic or christian? The first two seasons did not always have happy endings. That is why , for the most part I had some sort of "trust" in the show. That has clearly changed in this season. I prefer the Chip Coffey ( spelling, sorry) episodes. He seems to keep everyone in the " shut up, lets fix this" mode. And Ryan completely weirds me out now.

It's over the top with crazy eerie music and ghost hunters screaming "what was that?!?" They may have hurt a number of deranged, unstable people by telling them they are (a) being haunted by demons or (b) they have supernatural gifts. Ryan takes himself so seriously that it's hilarious. And yet, it's fun to watch.

It's Amazing! I Would Recommend "Devil In Jersey"! It's An Amazing Show Compared To All The Paranormal TV Shows I've Watched......And I've Seen A Whole Lot Of Other Paranormal TV Shows!

Paranormal State is a good show if you totally realize the possibility it can (and probably is) fake. I enjoy watching all these ghost shows, but I also keep in mind that more than likely they are fake and I need to just look at it as entertainment, nothing more.
Wheres the season pass!!!

Paranormal State gets a boost

This season, Paranormal State has kicked it up to a higher level, introducing improved scienific equipment, actual experiments (and not just dead time), and diving in to more edgy subjects (demons are now higher up on the list than ghosts). The production value has definitely increased, and it is wonderfully edited to make it suspenseful and touching at times. As a TV show, Paranormal State definitely stands apart from other shows in its genre. It succeeds as a TV show, but PRS as a group fails in its mission to help people, often leaving their clients with just guesses to work with or theoretical ideas to improve things afterwards. I'll watch PRS on TV, but they wouldn't be the people I would call if I needed help.

i love paranormal state ever since the first season!! i remember waking up one night after watching it, screaming and crying because of a nightmare! i couldnt sleep in my room for a month! but i love paranormal state!! its hands down my favorite show other than south park!! its totally not fake!! why would someone want to make things up like that anyway!!!
