Description

Delve deep into the strange and the mysterious with Penn State University student Ryan Buell and his college-age team of paranormal investigators as they attempt to unravel inexplicable paranormal phenomena including sixth-sense experiences, hauntings, ghost sightings, demonic disturbances, possession and brushes with the darkest areas of the unknown. Founded by Buell in 2001, the Paranormal Research Society (PRS) works on cases across the country and is one of the most recognized paranormal college societies in the nation. Through the use of Electronic Voice Phenomenon (EVP) recordings, video documentation, and client interviews and with the help of renowned psychics, demonologists, and Penn State University psychologists and counselors, the PRS explores the strange and the bizarre in the hopes of helping frightened people who have nowhere else to turn.

This has to be one of the best ghost tv shows out there! I hope Ryan Buell keeps it going for a long time!
Bad Edititng or just fake?

I grew up in the town with the Bar in episode 9. It is a genuenly haunted site and records of activites can be found in our local library. With this said this show either FAKED or just plain omitted alot of Important things- for example we have a Train Station 30 paces away from this Bar infact the bars parking lot abuts it!. Their test to see if the glasses would move.... of course they would move we have trains coming in up until 2 am or later on somedays! The site is haunted but their techniques and reason for proof of the haunting are shotty at best. Don't trust this show...

I beleve in paronormal state because I've seen things to. Beleve it or not. I'm not asking you to beleve me but if you would it would help. I've told friends and they did not beleve me so I'm hopeing you would I am twelve years old and when I started seeing this stuff was when I was younger and for some resone it stoped. My dad he's always saw stuff some things he has saw he will not tell of at least to me. He told me he's seen spirits and demons and all that crap well not aleans. And when I grow up and have kids I hope the don have it as bad as that so I will pray.....

This show does not use science or any realistic methods to try to prove/disprove the paranormal activity, only biblical references.

I think everyone should stop comparing Paranormal State and Ghot Hunters. They do very different investigations. PRS goes to homes where people live and helps them and TAPS goes mostly to abandoned places ad decides if they're haunted or not. Totally different!

paranormal state is just like Ghost Hunters (TAPS) !!! The only difference between them is that TAPS disproves a haunting instead of finding this little thing is paranormal when there could be a automatically have a explanation for it. I love this show very much and same with ghost hunters. i think ryan buell is hot and that doesn't mean that is only the reason i watch the show. i believe ghosts exist and that is true. it says in the bible. Ghost hunters are more professional with their stuff. but i am not saying paranormal state isn't professional. they need to find more things that can have a explanation for than just rather say it is paranormal.

I have seen every episode of this season and I was hooked! I got really "into" it, when Chip Coffee comes and it is just amazing. Being a sckeptic, but curious- began believing, and doing my own research. Oh, and of course, Ryan- he's great!

I love this show! I know some people don't think this is real or whatever but, that is there problem. There is much proof here. I think that everyone who gives this a bad review has some reason but, I give this a good review. (plus Ryan Buell is HOT!!!!!) lol. =)
