Description

The dramatic third season of Numb3rs finds dedicated FBI agent, Don Eppes and his younger mathematician brother, Charlie Eppes, continuing to take on the most confounding criminal cases, observing them from a very distinctive perspective. This season though, Don finds himself in conflict with his co-workers and his family, while the danger and stress of his work drive him to an increasingly dark place. Charlie must turn from being the younger brother and son and learn how to provide support and advice to his brother and father. Alan realizes that he wants to find new challenges in life, even as he realizes that it's now his older son who may need him most. Larry tries to balance his obsession with his work with a chance at a relationship with FBI agent Megan Reeves.

I personally love this show. I never liked math but when I heard about this show I decided to try it out. It is AWESOME!!!! The characters are nicely put together and each case is thrilling. This is good work definately on my top favorite shows. I am sad though that Apple has messed up people's experiences. It is a great show to watch.

I am so pleased to see a show on television that is entertaining and includes math. I tape them for my students and show the parts that include figuring out math calculations. It is refreshing to have a show on tv that thinks!

I don't remember how I stumbled accross the first epsiode, I for the most part stopped wathing TV since X-Files ended. The show is different from the X-files but oddly fimilar, the ability to download it just makes it even better, I'd like to see a new epsoide a week but can't have everything. I hope this is hear to stay. "One Hour" - Megan has alwasy been hot, this epsoide really made it stand out.

This show is amazingly fun to watch, equipt with drama, some romance, sometimes a spark of comedy, and lots and lots of equations! Its complex because it combines three very different worlds: a family's home, a FBI office, and a math professor's office. Back at the FBI office and vans filled with snipers with bullet proof vests, Don Epps, Megan Reeves, Colby Granger, and David Sinclaire track down criminals. Crime shows, are just crime shows but this show is about so much more than violence, its about saving lives. And because its about the FBI, the crime plot lines revolve on issues that don't only involve murders making it a little more interesting than regular crime shows. Back at the university, or usually in the basement at his home, Charlie Epps with help from Amita Ramanujan and Larry Fleinhardt, is using math to help Don and the FBI with the cases. Because the complex equations and names are things that only a select few would understand, the show displays analogies and visuals that make the show easier to follow. And then there is of course, Alan Epps, the father who helps both kids with there lives, and always keeps the show fresh and relatable, even if you have no interest in the FBI or mathmaticians. The third season is filled with surprises, and through each episode you learn more and more about each characters' past, future, goals, insecuirities, and deepest secrets leading up to the season finale, which will change the FBI team forever.

Numb3rs is such a cognative stimulation that it wihout a doubt, my favorite tv program on the air. 'Janus List' is the epitome of everything that Numb3rs has been building towards for three whole seasons now. However, I was a little disappointed that Larry did not make any appearance after returning from his stint with NASA in the one episode, especially when Megan came back into the picture. Overall though, it was quite an exhilirating and worthwhile episode.
