Description

Numb3rs is a drama about an FBI agent who recruits his mathematical-genius brother to help the Bureau solve a wide range of challenging crimes in Los Angeles. A dedicated FBI agent, Don Eppes (Rob Morrow) couldn't be more different from his younger brother, Charlie Eppes (David Krumholtz), a brilliant mathematician who's yearned to impress his big brother ever since he was little. As a seasoned investigator, Don deals in hard facts and evidence, whereas Charlie, a math professor at a California university, functions in a world of mathematical probability and equations. Now, despite their disparate approaches to life, Don and Charlie are able to combine their areas of expertise and solve some killer cases. This season, Diane Farr joins the cast as Megan Reeves, part of Don's FBI team.

I used to absolutely love Numbers. The show was amazing every week. I used to watch this every week on Friday night around eight or nine with my family. Then devastation. The show was either cancelled or just ended without us knowing. Now I can bring that great memory back by watching Numbers on my iPad. To anyone reading this, the show is better than any show on today. The characters are amazing and the plot always has you on the edge of your chair/sofa. Numbers is and always will be on of the best shows I have ever seen.

I absolutely love this show. The writing is great and the acting is top notch. The team of actors work well together. I learn something everytime I watch an episode, thanks to the math professor. The combination of brain and brawn works well, but with an intelligent twist.
  • Good Show, Bad iTunes

Love the show. Doesn't need more praise. iTunes, however is consistently screwing up the episode ID numbers. I've d/l several seasons of different shows and they almost always play out of order. Take a look iTunes. The episodes in this season are listed in order but Assassin has the wrong episode ID. It's only in the right order when you list it by release date. Thanks....
  • Exciting action, great story lines with real relationships

It's not many shows that dare to explore the relationships among men, and this show goes above and beyond. A father and 2 brothers, one a Cal Sci genius, and the other an FBI leader, continually work on relationship complexity from the old pains of the past and continue to grow as people. There is a lot of emotional exploration that goes beyond the typical anger and violence, beer and football we see in lesser shows. My favorite episode was Soft Target, where Scott Cohen (who co-starred with Rob Morrow in ShowTime's Street Time) gets to play an agent performing terrorist readiness tests, with a big surprise in store.
  • Great show but some episodes were corrupted

I never seen this show before last week and got hooked to it, it's my favorite show now. I ended up buying all 1 and 2 seasons. So far there were no problems (should there be one?) until now. I found two corrupted files (7 and 8th episodes) so far that had errors in the middle of the show. I am going to try to find out the problem and solve it, until then I am gonna be pissed off. I love the show, this rating does not reflect the quality of the show, but the quality of the digital files.

Why is this season $39.99 while Season 3 is $29.99 and they have the same amount of episodes?? I don't get it but this is a good show anyway.

numb3rs is really a great show. kudos to everyone that has anything to do with it. hopefully it will play some small part in bringing reason back to this truly maddening world (well, at least in the tv viewing population of it, anyway - that would be a heathly start). ...and I just couldn't help myself, I had to get this off my chest: ysbee is mistaken - the character Charlie is a mathematician, and numerology has absolutely nothing to do with mathematics. as a mathematician, I am deeply insulted. please get your terms straight before lumping the lot of us in with those dolts.
  • Love it but

I really love this show. The only nit I could pick is that Judd Hirsch's character would have had to be at least 10 - 15 years younger for the episode "Protest". I started college in '72 and my son is turning 31 this year (same age as Charlie)... and I am 52. Hirsch is 72. There is no way a man that age would have been in college in '71. In those days it was very rare to see older students, and he would have been 36 at that time, not 18 - 22. Even assuming he was a grad student it's still a stretch. TV seems to have a lot of trouble getting it right when it comes to my age group. Maybe they just can't do the math! That said I wouldn't change Hirsch as Allan Epps. I think he's great!
