Whoopi plays the slave very well because she is a modern slave. How do you combat racism with racism against others races?

Classic movie that never gets old; can’t count how many times I’ve seen it. I’m that annoying person that talks throughout the whole movie saying every line lol.

Meryl Streep is my favorite actress but there is no way she should have beat out Whoopi for lead actress without a doubt it should have won best movie. Have not watched another oscars since finding out that Purple was denied the obvious award. Shame on the academy. They blew it big time.
