In the trailers for ‘Loki’, the God of Trick repeatedly repeats his lines from previous MCU movies, and it could be a plot detail in the future. In the latest clip “Chaos”, Loki declares about himself how he knows exactly how he is: “Good. Bad. A little bit of each.” This line is a reference to Peter Quill’s line in the first ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’. “What do we do next? What good? Bad thing? Or both?” before deciding to be “a little at a time”.
If you pay close attention, this is not the first time in the clips that an old quote is reused. In the first trailer, Loki also said “Glorious”, and then a full line “I am Loki and I carry the burden of a glorious purpose.” Marvel fans will know this is a line from the movie ‘The Avengers’ (2012): “I am the Loki of Asgard, and I bear the burden of a glorious purpose.” It can be said that this is one of the most outstanding sayings of this character, and has been repeated by fans for many years.
