Tom Hiddleston will return as the fan-favorite, the MCU deceitful god in a new adventure separate from Thor. However, this version of the character comes from 2012, with his escape during the Avengers’ time-traveling mission in ‘Endgame’ setting the stage for the events of the series. Loki finds himself captured by the TVA – in the comics, it’s an organization responsible for protecting the universe’s timeline, which is essentially the case with the MCU.
