    Went in with low expectations, but boy was I wrong. This show just keeps getting better and better. All the characters are interesting and lovable in their own way, and the villains are as well. Well, Capaldi was anyway. Watch it, you won't be sorry.

    This shows does a fantastic job of being an enjoyable easy-on-the-eys adventure, while delicately exploring very modern subjects. If you have read the books, you’ll recognize that they are working in storylines and themes that you don’t usually see in the Three Musketeers movies. (Not to do those a disservice - I love them as well.) But this series is treading new ground in Dumas’ world of honor and derring-do. I highly recommend it if you loved The Princess Bride, Gladiator, 13th Warrior, Merlin or other similar tales of adventure and heroism based loosely on history.

    I love this show.. only negative thing is that I am afraid they might not renew it for another season.. It would be such a shame!

    The Musketeers is a great take on Alexandre Dumas’ characters. It is intriguing and exciting show with complex characters. I love the back stories since Dumas never went very deep with Athos, Porthos, and Aramis in the book. Best show from BBC America since Robin Hood.

    Been waiting since the season one finale for this. The season premiere was I believe the best episode yet. A great swashbuckling yarn!! Too bad Peter Capaldi went to Dr. Who. But intriguing with Rochefort should be grand adventure. Well done! I hope the balance of the season is action packed as the premiere.
