  • It Can't Be Overstated...

... how brilliant these two are (to say nothing of their team of fellow anarchist filmmakers). Their past work changed the concept of comedy, forever & significantly, unbeknownst to many. Now they're pushing that concept, "funny?", even further. This show is disconcerting & bizarre, stunningly critical of society, and sometimes even cruel. But get on their wavelength and just try not to grin.

My only gripe is the episode “Hole” seemed to be far too short. That single plot line could have spanned a short-film. Either way, I’m on board. The kings are back.
  • Masters of anti-comedy

The world's premier surrealist anti-comedy masters return with a new, much darker series which fully commits to the horror that they previously flirted with in Awesome Show and Tom Goes to the Mayor. Don't go into this looking for cheap laughs or even anything like Tim & Eric's previous stuff... this one seems to aim directly for the uncomfortable space in your brain. An experience devoid of happy endings or typical catharsis. If it's successful or not is less important than the fact that the duo continues to fearlessly explore the boundaries of comedy and horror in a definitive style that is unique and totally their own. So anything by them becomes exciting in a way that other teams not walking such a crazy tightrope could ever be.
