Description

The hit international spy drama returns this summer for its highly anticipated fourth season with Golden Globe®-nominee Piper Perabo as Annie Walker. This season kicks off after Annie and her longtime best friend and blind CIA tech-op, Auggie (Christopher Gorham) finally acknowledging their romantic feelings for one another. Things get complicated at the agency, as Annie aligns with Henry Wilcox (guest star Gregory Itzin) in a dangerous, undercover mission that has potentially scandalous consequences for the CIA. Joining the cast this season is Hill Harper ("CSI: NY") who will play Calder Michaels, an ambitious CIA station chief based in Latin America.

    Great show! It is better than most movies in the visual quality as general production standards. The DOP is/are incredible. We deserve the full quality of the vision the creators of the show have delivered. Fix the episodes that seem like they are 10 frames per second. I cannot watch the newest episode. It looks awful. Episode 11 is still broken. Everyone needs to report this problem and get the supreme quality of this show that season pass deserve.

    Before Annie got a gun, the majority of the action existed in a patently surreal universe where petite young ladies win mixed martial arts fights against Navy SEALS and at most have a few scratches and no black eyes, but it was not believable, since stuff like that only happens in fantasy universes . . . Now it is getting real and very believable, which is stellar!

    Stellar combo of comedy-drama, sorta spy thrillish but lighter than Homeland and with more heft and depth than NCIS [not that there's anything wrong with it--Ziva David is my favorite contemporary TV spy character of all time]. Covert Affs' stories of Spy Annie Walker's connections-misconnections-disconnections move and groove all around the world, while she juggles a handful of best friends who also happen to be guys who each fall in different types of love with her, but--like in life--the timing is always off or the location is wrong or duty calls and not that we know we're all being spied on, might as well have some fun with it. Enjoy the ride.
