Description

In the remote woods of Oregon lies one of the richest gold mines in the United States that was abandoned 80 years ago when a series of tragedies gave it an infamous reputation for being haunted. Now, a new owner has decided to take on the notorious legend and reopen the mine, assembling a colorful team of miners – both seasoned and new – and a pair of experienced paranormal investigators to battle the elements in hopes of finding a fortune. This strong-willed and superstitious group of miners will face the day-to-day challenges of mining, aided by the paranormal investigators who unravel the mysteries surrounding the mine, including historic Masonic connections and a spirit who has been known to haunt the area for generations.

    I was suprised at how much I liked it. I happened upon it after the entire season was done, so I got to watch all of them right after the other. It was a fun adventure, and the miners, their family's and the paranormalists were all interesting in their own right. Worth the purchase price in SD.

    I wait anxiously to receive the weekly episode on iTunes. Whether you believe the paranormal aspect or not, it's still an interesting view of mining. Sort of a haunted version of "Deadliest Catch".

    this is an awesome show and kind of reminds me of the book Skeleton Creek. This series is really good and really tigh! watch the first 3 episodes and your hooked!

    I agree the combined search for gold with ghost hunting was a winning combination! Old men set in their ways as usual, but the drama and mystery surrounding the cave has perked my interest . I will be subscribing!!!!!

    Two of my favorite reality show topics in one...ghosts and gold! Loved the first episode. Can't wait for more. Since its slotted to be shown on SyFy channel in conjunction with Ghost Hunters, I imagine this should do well. And as for the reviewer who asked if this was a Scooby Doo episode, I say, "who didn't love Scooby"?
