  • Finally! A Reason to Use My iTunes Gift Card!

Yeah, I bought this iTunes card like five years ago and only downloaded a couple things. Samuel Hui's TEN GIRLS and James Gunn's PG-PORN soundtrack. Since then my iTunes card has been Sleestaking and waiting for @nerdist. Okay, they've finished downloading, got stuff to do. Like nerdgasming all over myself.

I love the podcast, and I love these shows. They do a great job of capturing the "spirit" of the podcast and presenting nifty people, things, & ideas. The only changes I would make are (1) make more shows and (2) make the shows longer.

Great episode, only complaint is that I need more!! Seriously this is such a fun show and I love all the work Chris, Matt and Jonah put into the podcast.

Adore the podcast, great live show, excellent television programming. The humor and topics The Nerdist addresses (in all media forms) are often ones you do not find in mainstream media. There is an audience out there for intelligent (and vulgar) conversation! Not only do they provide the type of quality entertainment that has me laughing out loud to myself in the office, car and grocery store like a weirdo...it also provides information for shows, movies, music and products (that once again) cannot be found in mainstream media. I am beginning to feel like a tween girl (with a crush on a company) every other sentence out of my mouth seems to be "... on The Nerdist....", I have had to work on not referencing it so much. It's love, what can I say?

Love the show and it's definitely finding its footing as it goes along. Alison Haislip's segments were awesome and the action figures of Chris, Matt, and Jonah had me rolling around laughing. Can't wait for more!!

Great guests, not great interviewing skills. Reminded me of a frat party, lots of noise, not much intelligence. Listened to 3 episodes and unsubsribed.
  • Keep making them

I'll pretty much watch anything these guys do. They're so funny. I've listened to the Nerdist podcast for ages, so I was really excited when the TV show got the green light. I recommend subscribing to their podcast before jumping right into this show so that you'll get more of the running jokes.
  • Like Hanging out with your Best Friends who happen to be Famous

Like the podcast, which is fantastic by the way, the show made me feel like I was sitting around with my best friends, talking about the nerd culture that affects us- the things we love and the things we hate. Sure sometimes I don't agree with them, but that's part of the fun. Matt, Chris and Jonah are just nice, normal dudes who enjoy each other's company, and all the guests can feel that welcoming vibe and reciprocate it. Even the celebrities they love are treated love REAL LIVE PEOPLE, not talking heads full of soundbites or fragile porcelain dolls. There's glee in meeting and chatting with famous people, but it's all genuine and unobtrusive to the interaction. Watch the show, listen to the Podcast and follow them on twitter. You wont regret it.
