To those who gripe about Fran's voice: Her natural voice is much softer and less nasal than it was in "The Nanny". She was also born/raised in Flushing, NY; giving her the 'voice' that she days (complete with the accent). The fact that this show is loosely based on Fran's real-life marriage, makes the show THAT much better. There are many references to her character on "The Nanny", including some appearances by Charles Shaughnessy (sp?), whose character has some similar characteristics to Maxwell Sheffield.

I wanted so bad to be alive when The Nanny was premiering, but I guess I'll get a chance with another one of her shows! I absolutely love her voice! At first it bothered me when I was watching The Nanny, but I kinda of have gotten to a point to where I am deaf to it(I kinda watched this show and the Nanny about 5000 times repeatedly!). I want to be like Fran so bad! Thank you iTunes for adding this, please add the Nanny too! You all should definetly watch her shows!

Fran drescher is an amazing actress!!! love her!:) and for all you people who haven't watched any tv shows or movies she's been in BEFORE this show, her voice is naturally like that and it's part of the comedy!! and sometimes Thayer even ask her to enhance it a little!! if you've ever watch her older sit-com The Nanny, you would see her voice sounds WAY better in Happily Divorced!! love you Fran and I hope your comedy goes on for years!!!
  • Awesome!
