This show is not for everyone, and therein lies its appeal. Here one gets the opportunity to see strange and unique items, and meet some very interesting characters as well. Antique medical instruments you have to see to believe, conjoined twins from the animal world and even parts of an authentic mummy! Entertainers drop in to display their, ahem, unique talents. A fashion designer who formerly worked as a mortician-how cool does it get? If you are a bit squeamish or interested only in "normal" antiques and pawn shop staples, then ODDITIES is not for you. But if the morbid is your cup of tea, then by all means tune in to this show. Brilliant concept, and educational to boot. Plus it's really great to know that I'm not the only one around who delights in the macabre. Anyone who goes on a honeymoon consisting of visits to European cemeteries and ossuaries is definitely my type of person.

I love this show. It is so refreshing to watch a show about interesting people who love what they do and are great at it. Every episode is a learning experience, and an entertaining one, at that! I normally have a problem paying $1.99 for a half-hour show, but for this I make an exception. Worth every penny.
