I flinch at all these reviews. Look, the repetition is the whole friggin' point of the show! The first couple of episodes set up a plot line that all the jokes are based off of, and I'm happy about that. Today, almost all television programs go for cool plots, and while that's fine, this show takes viewers back to the olden days (you know, 70s and 80s) where all cartoons would have a clichéical plot line. And have you seen shows today? How cheesy are the jokes? It would be much easier to come up with material if you had a certain plot In which you typically parodize yourself. So bug off! This is a good show!
Why is this still on!!!!'

Ok I'm going to put this as nice and simple as I can.....
This stinks!!!!!!!!!
Look guys, throughout their first season the creators of Phineas and Ferb (probably) worked very hard to come up with the script and the plot lines but I think that all the creative juice was squeezed out of them. Now there even reusing old ideas such as building another rollercoster but with singing. There was also a few episodes in which their inventions weren't even showed. Not to mention that the plot line never changes. My point is when a show starts to "recycle" old material then it's been on television for too long. Phineas and Ferb has been on TV for what FIVE YEARS now? It's time to call it quits. Disney has made some pretty horrible sitcoms the past few years such as ant farm, fish hooks,Jessie, and shake it up but Phineas and Ferb is the worst offender yet. (good luck Charlie is ok. It doesn't have any corny jokes or any thing) But if you want a show that's cartoon network quirky with excellent writing, a great concept ,with lovable characters, and that classic Disney heart then travel to a town just north of normal to Gravity Falls.(Fridays at 9:30pm) Alex Hirsch created, wrights, directs, and lends his voice to this wonderful show that is based off of his summers that he spent with his twin sister and great aunt in the woods. Hirsch portrays himself as Dipper, a curios and clever 12 year old who's wise beyond his years. With his sister by his side he dares to uncover the town's darkest secrets. Alex Hirsch's twin sister, Areal inspired the energetic and optimist character, Mabel, who makes the best of every situation with a big goofy smile on her face. Another lovable character is handy man Soos, (played by Alex Hirsch) the Mystery Shack man-child who is the only person other than the twins who notices all the weird things going on in Gravity Falls. Alex Hirsch's great aunt inspired the sly character that is Dipper and Mabel's Grunkle (great uncle) Stan (also played by Alex Hirsch) who manages the Mystery Shack a tourist trap filled with bizarre nicknacks and unusual oddities. Wendy is a daring teenage girl who has a part time job at the Mystery Shack. The fun-loving red head is also Dipper's crush.
There are also so many other lovable characters in Gravity Falls I'm sure you'll love. Plus there are hidden messages all over like at the end of the theme song theres a whisper that says: "I'm still here" and when played backwards it says: " Three letters back." At the end of each show's ending credits there will be a bunch of random letters. Lets say that one of the letters is a D then you would go three letters back from D in the alphabet then it would be an A. If one of the letters is an A then go three letters back from that and it would be a Y. And at the VERY END of the theme song a secret decoder will pop on the screen really fast; if you blink you'll miss it. Please check it out it's waaaaaaay better than this junk. Though every thing is better to watch on the TV than on the iPhone because the picture is bigger, the first episode of Gravity Falls is free on iTunes.
Repetitiveness=good :) for me at least

I think the fact that you know what they are going to say every episode is a good thing because you feel like u can count on it. not like my life is totally unstable or anything but it feels good to count on something at anytime doesn't it?
Awesome!!!

Every time I'm watching Disney Channel this show is on and I just want to watch it so I can see how stupid it is. The same thing happens every episode!!! I just watched a new one and it made me say "Waa, waaa haaaa hooowww???? In every episode there's something completely unrealistic like falling off a building or being crushed and being able to say "curse you perry the platypus"!!!! I would reckon spend my moneyon a guy throwing up than getting this show!! $29.99??? I guess I would buy it if I was planning on robbing a bank!!!

This show tecnaclly came out on August 17, 2007 (the same day High School Musical 2 premered) with the rollercoster episode to kind of give you an idea of what this show's about, I don't remember if I watched it on that night or not but all I know is, it gave it's real debut in Febuary, 2008 and I watched it then, I've been watching disney channel since I was 5 (mabie younger). I was 10 when I started to watch this and my brother and sister who are already 9 and 6 and I love disney in general as much as they do (mabie a little more than them). I loved Phineas and Ferb ever since. All the episodes were good when it first came out. But unfortunatly in July of that same year I started watching Nickalodean and stoped watching this, by the age of 11, I stoped watching this completly. I was missing out somthing good and I didn't even realize it, Nickelodean gave me a tough time, I started copying everything from every show on it which always made me very akward, at my new school when I moved in 2008. But 3 years later in July saw my younger brother watching Disney which he always did and I started doing the same. Enough of my life and when I watch it, I'm going to tell you what makes this show so great. I'm writing this review because Phineas and Ferb is not only my favorite disney show, but one of my favorite shows of all time. When I got back into it, life started to make more and more sence to me. I started becoming more mature and had better feelings about myself. Phineas and Ferb is my kind of show and I'm already 14, I'll tell you why. This show involves two step brothers named Phineas Flynn and Ferb Fletcher. This show takes place during summer and to make the most of their days, the boys build things people their age can't even start, from rollercosters, to time machenes, airplanes, fancy resterants, thist goes on to many times but whos counting. In 97% of the episodes, they defy boredom with their three closest friends, Isabella (the only girl there, she actually has a crush on Phineas), Buford (he reacts as a bully from time to time, but very good friends with the boys), and Baljeet (a nerdish friend of the boys, dispite his intelligence at math and what not, and how nerdish he can be at times his is a victum of Buford when he gets in a bully's mood). Meanwhile the boys' older sister Candace Flynn obsessivly tries to get them in trouble with their mom, she is also obsessed with a boy named Jeremy. Dispite this she often acts a little nuts but shes a good character. In the B plot, the boys have a pet platypus who they call Perry who works for a secret agency called the O.W.C.A (stands for organazation without a cool acronym). When the boys arn't looking he goes down to his secret layer and gets sent on missions to fight an evil sciantest by the name of Dr. Doofenshmertz. He invents contraptions like Phineas and Ferb except he uses them for evil and take over the Tri-State Area (where the main setting is throughout the series). Candace tries to get them as she often refers to as "busting" but always fails because Dr. Doof's inventions do somthing bad to Phineas and Ferb's contraptions and fails to take over the Tri-State Area. So overall this show is amazing, I'm in love with it at the moment, its always fun to watch and feels good. I hope you enjoyed my review on this show, have a great day.
