  • Cancelled!!!? Great poignant TV dramedy...

This was one of the funniest, wittiest, well-acted and well-written shows on television and it got cancelled, while HBO renewed ENLIGHTENED which was way lower in ratings! Thomas Jane and Jane Adams were just superb in their roles and played the laughs and pathos to perfection. It was on one level a comedy of sexual intrigues but, oh, those moments when the show would point to the current economic times (school cutbacks, decaying inner city wastelands, a whole way of life disintegrating) and show these people as just doing the best they could with their backs to the wall , living life far removed from their youthful dreams, the poignancy would really grab you. Kudos to all the cast and crew involved and I'm so sad I won't enjoy another season in the company of Ray and Tanya, though Lenore was perhaps one character we'd seen a bit too much of.

I was considering purchasing the last full season of Hung. Never seen an episode however the raw summary sounds like its a enjoyable series. I seen its parental rating is TV-MA...Now a days with how society is... TV-MA could very well be for a scene where a couple is kissing in bed with the girl wearing her bra and underwear! Can someone that knows the series tell me if there is alot of / or any nudity/love scenes?? - Anyones input would be appreciated!

I love the characters in this series...well written, well acted, and always tongue in cheek (so to speak). Try at least the pilot episode...you'll be hooked.
