It lampoons modern society while exposing the dreams, flaws, and struggling humanity of our first and most formative authority figures: teachers.

    I didn't like it the first time I watched it, but after watching some episodes on Fox On Demand, I fell in love with it! The voice actors are incredible!

    I am still in love with this show! It's just like Arrested Development, and people with run-of-the-mill sense of humor didn't like that show either. You just have to have quick wit, and most people are lacking in that department. No worries. Just watch a different show. PUH-lease!! This show is super funny, especially "Tackin'." Brilliant. Oh, and the one when Willard becomes the school's dictator. LOL They should sell it in stores. I've got all three seasons of Arrested Development, and I would NOT mind having this show too!

    It's a great show, I've liked it ever since the Pilot, and I plan to get all the episodes at one point in time. The show is greatly written, and it has a great cast.

    This show is great!! And it's also underrated or overlooked by most people. That's because Sit Down, Shut Up is very different from any other mainstream comedy on tv right now, and I will admit that I had a hard time getting used to the style of the show at first. But once i did, i was in love with it! The jokes are CONSTANT, and almost all of them are subtle and veeerrryy dry. The jokes aren't meant to get big laughs, and there is no time for them anyway. Basically, if you appreciated the style and humor of Arreseted Development, Mitch Hurwitz's other show, than you will love this show. It's the same unique brand of humor, but at an even faster pace. Try it.

    This show was hilarious on-air. However it seems to have already been cancelled in the same fashion as Arrested Development. Sit Down, Shut Up is one of those shows that only becomes famous after it dies, like many artists. Perhaps this show has a chance on a different network in a different time, like the future.
