Description

Season 1 of The Upside Down Show explores all the amazing places imagination can take you. With hosts Shane and David, imaginative play is the gateway to learning language and literacy skills, abstract thinking, and social skills like negotiation and cooperation. Equipped with an imaginary remote control, preschoolers will join Shane and David on fantastical journeys to the pet shop, airport, beach, art museum, farm, and more. Each trip includes several "wrong turns," which bring our hosts to exotic locales like the Puppy Room, the Dancing Room, the Snoring Room, the Outer Space Room and the South Pole. And every episode adds a new "wild-card button" — the preschooler's imaginary remote — that can make Shane and David do an Irish dance, seesaw, celebrate, or even actually turn upside-down!

I’ve been watching the Upside Down Show since I was 5 and I’m fifteen now it’s it’s still one of my absolute favorite shows of all time it taught me so much and I still look back at it!!!!

This show was there for me everyday as a toddler. I loved this show since 4 or 5 and never stopped loving this show. 14 now and considering to get episodes. Besides all that, this show was the best outta all of them.

Even when I get older, this show is something that I will always enjoy. The Australian duo, the Umbilical Brothers, showcase their comedic talents (ventriloquists, mimicking sounds very well), and I like the puppetry and camera work too. There is never anything amazing quite like this for a children's show. The target audience is indeed for preschoolers and anyone at a young age. But I like the structure of each episode and how it can teach kids vocabulary and it can encourage creativity and imagination. An unique original from another country (Aussies), that educates kids on right and wrong, remembering certain things which leads to a big build up at the end of each episode, vocabulary, and having the value to laugh and have a good time with your mom, dad, your brother, sister, and your friends too. I remember seeing it on Noggin at a young age and buying the episodes and watching it again made it more nostalgic. Thanks to Shane Dundas and David Collins for an amazing comedy and children program that anyone can enjoy.

This show was and still is my fav show as a kid. Even tho it ran only 13 episodes. Who Cares?!! It is an amazing show and I recommend this show for younger kids. And maybe older kids might like it them selfs too. Cuz I am turning 12 and I still Love it!! Hope they have a reunion some time! I would love to see that! ❤️❤️❤️😘✌️

I love the show. David and Shane are excellent actors and can make imaginary things appear real. The controlling of the remote is fantastic and is very entertaining to watch.
