The Middleman, Season 1

One of the most original and enjoyable shows that's been aired in decades and it barely makes half a season of episodes. I hate the men in suits. The entire cast is fantastic. The characters are unique and memorable. To me it's like a mix of Outer Limits, Twilight Zone, Eerie Indiana (the original series not the remake years later), Futurama, Parker Louis Can't Lose, Dark Angel, and Get Smart. It's a little cheesy and hokey but it doesn't take itself too seriously. However, I take it seriously. The creativity of the writing is here is unparalleled in a time where everything is banal reality shows and horrible soulless remakes. It is nothing short of a tragedy that this was shut down when there was so much potential. I can't believe some other network didn't pick this up and run with it.

If you don't buy this show, no one likes you. If no one likes you, you're like Pip. If you are like Pip, Lacey will fantasize about you for a short time. If Lacey fantasizes about you for a short time, you replace the Middleman. If you replace the Middleman, you end up like 69, and if you end up like 69, you melt. Don't melt, buy this show.

I love this series. We did something with it that we've never done, not even with Firefly: after we finished marathoning it once, we watched it again. And then grieved because there WAS NO MORE. I keep hoping this will be made into a movie a la Firefly/Serenity or that someone will pick it up and produce it (Sci Fi, I'm talking to YOU.) Marvelous, witty fun.

I loved this show and only watched one episode the one with varsity fanclub why must the hot guys die?!?!

Simply put: I LOVE THIS SHOW! If the shows Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Star Trek had a illegitimate child, it would be this show.

Loved the show. Quirky, loads of geek refrences to catch and sadly cancelled in it's prime. I just wish the HD version was available or even a Blu-Ray release.

It's a really cute show and keeps your attention :)

At first I did not like this show, but after a few episodes I couldn't get enough. If you like The Middle Man you would also like Eureka. It's the same kind of show.

...Lose an episode of this great show, recommended at a 100%, it's a shame that there will not be a second season, WHY ABC FAMILY, WHY?!?!?!?!

Rare, clever, surprising and totally under the radar. Funny, twisted, upside down mutant sci-fi satire with a wholesome kick. Punchlines that reference every sci-fi movie or TV show, iconic comic book and just about any other pop culture nod imaginable. It's quick, quirky, snarky and smart. Good clean mutant fun. Best kept secret on iTunes.
