Moral Orel is a show like no other, and it is one I will never forget. The great comedy which slowly turns into great drama over the three season run really leaves an impression that will never go away. If only more people gave this show a chance in the past, then who knows, we might still be seeing new content from it today.

I love show i think that first season was funny and light hearted. As the show progressed and moved into season 2 it got more serious and less about childhood mistakes and more about the darkness of being a damaged adult. It is sad that itunes still doesn't have it yet but it has 1 and 3. Season 3 is where is just shuts off the illusion of being a funny and goes into the dark realms that most people don't want to get into. To see the true nature of everyone finally come out and seeing how much they hurt and confuse orel. I remember watching the episode numb, i saw that i had a tear in my eye because i forgot completely that these where just clay dolls and felt that they were real, because of how real their problems are portrayed. I just hope that you also release season 2 soon itunes.

This was an amazing mix of comedy and believed in god! I was shock that it's only 3 seasons.

...There's a miracle. Orel's final season doesn't belong under comedy. When I first watched Moral Orel, it was... Interesting. In this show's third season, we see the disgusting underbelly of Moralton, but there are moments when you don't really think you're watching the same town. Orel is a good kid, maybe a miracle in this messed up town. I hope he stays that way.

I must admit, I wasn't really a fan of the first few seasons of this show. Maybe it was the sort of campy attitude with which the creators treated the absurdity of religion: they made the point, but did it in a completely over-the-top way, which, while it was intended to be humorous and enjoyable for the viewer, but didn't appeal to me. Then I had the chance to watch Season Three on replay recently. I was blown away. Finally, the characters seemed to be more than caricatures of practicing Christians. Dino finally gave you a look into the desperation and misery in which all these characters are trapped in one way or another. I know that kind of deep, well-designed stuff doesn't generally sell on [adult swim], but I would have really liked to have seen more of this type of work from the start. As a Venture Bros. fan, I've seen that really quality programming can have some success even when the larger audiences (and better time slots) are going to shows like King of the Hill, Family Guy, Robot Chicken, and Aqua Teen Hunger Force. Don't get me wrong: I like all of those shows. But they're not the same quality as Venture Bros., Boondocks, or this final season of Morel Orel.

I love this series, while i believe that season 1 and 2 were more comical I think season three is my favorite for it's more serious tone. It delves into the psyche of each of these characters and really gives them alot of depth and reasoning to the way they are. "Passing" and "Help" are absolutely my favorite episodes and almost made me want to cry, which most times would not be a high point for a comedy about the troubles of blind faith, but those episodes really allowed me to really realize these people problems and connect to them like no Family Guy episode has ever done.

Who knew this show would turn out to be so amazingly touching. I believe that I am actually a better person for having watched this series.

At first i really didn't give this show a second thought till i saw the episode "Grounded," and i was completly floored by its take on transubstantiation versus con-substantiation. i had to see more, and once i let go of my expectations i was really shocked and moved by the care this animator put into his creation. it's as if he walked in and told the network executives since you're canceling me i want to do the show my way with no compromises... and for once it seemed art overpowered marketing and consumerism. Just, wow, so smart, so witty, and so short... i really hope this animator gets to do more projects the way he wants to... i definitely recommend this season to anyone that takes animation serious. (on a side note this show introduced me to a great band the mountain goats, great music...)
