Still reeling from discovery the truth about her father, Joanna Chang (formerly Joanna Hanley) has burrowed into her new job at Steadman Lavery. One of the firm's highest profile cases is dropped on Joanna's desk. It's representing GenBreeach, a small tech app company. It's very small - it's one guy that we know of: Noah Achari. Joanna thinks this lawsuit is all above board until she gets an anonymous tip: a name. Suspicious, Joanna looks into the name only to discover that the person was recently murdered and is connected to Noah. This sends her spiraling into the shadowy world of hackers, activists, and a political movement that won't take prisoners.
