Inside Amy Schumer, Season 4 (Uncensored)

So sad, just not funny...

In season 4 Amy has taken her ever growing fame and turned her show into a soapbox to air her views. I respect her opinions but they're not what I paid $23 to see. Don't purchase any season past 3

Episode 7 was bad. First bad episode she has really had. I thought, okay, just a one-off. Then Episode 8 came out. Ugh. This show has now "jumped the shark".

Love the show! I’ve enjoyed every episode each season. Amy is hilarious and contemporary, and authentic, assembled with a great cast of regulars, writers, and guest stars. Great sketch comedy show, doesn’t get much better, up there with any of them, past and present.

just awful…………and nothing more…….

Last season was incredibly creative, and felt like a progression from the previous. This season started off pretty well with the Hamilton spot. You’re really starting to lose me though with the gun spot. I’m sure you’re truly concerned about the safety of others. But your comedy is misplaced when you’re helping to spread misinformation and making light of the laws that are in fact in place precluding felons from acquiring firearms (legally,) the purchase of firearms on the internet (which legally must be shipped to FFL Federally Licensed Firearm Dealers) not directly into your care, nor can you buy these at a gunshow without passing the same checks that I go through whenever I buy a firearm at any other location. I know because I am a legal gun owner, having passed background checks, and having essentially been provided a legal root canal to obtain a license to carry said firearms in a concealed capacity. You’re only giving others a reason to think less of your anti-gun position. The humor isn’t even coming from an educated place. You’re an extremely talented, creative, and funny entertainer. I tell everyone about your show. You’ll start to lose me though when you go beyond poking fun at a topic and lean into the territory of propagating uneducated falsehoods.

She’s funny, she knows what she is, she knows what she’s not, and with all her success as of late, she hasn’t become self important, either. Best of all, she doesn’t coast, this season is as funny as the previous seasons. Highly recommend.

Love the show, keeps it’s edge even in Season 4 so far…
