Really excellent film. Might be complex, with details certainly lost on viewers not familiar with the subject matter; but still enjoyable in that regard, and even better with the requisite knowledge.

It is difficult to understand what has been referred to as "The Troubles" unless you lived there. For me I have always been fascinated with this part of history. This movie allowed me a glimpse into a very difficult time. I have been the young fresh faced soldier like in this movie and felt anxiety during the more intense scenes. I blame all sides during this difficult time and anyone who placed young soldiers into this cauldron of violence. In conclusion I am tired of old men starting wars for young men to go die in.
  • Not a feel good movie, but very well done.

Shows how the dirt bag IRA terrorists acted towards anyone that did not see it their way. Violence due to religion again. Well acted and written. Well done

Action drama set in 1971 Ireland about a British solder who gets separated from his platoon and bears witness to double agents while trying to get back to his unit. Lots is said without saying, and some said out loud, point blank. Would have worked better if the lead character was more flushed out.

...if you don't want to fall asleep while watching it. I ended up scrolling forward just to get through it and kept wondering if it was ever going to end and when it did, it felt open-ended. All in all, the movie was boring and not worth a dime. Save your time if not your money.

Intense, suspenseful story with good acting, sound track and cinematography. You get the real feel of being there, in Belfast in 1971. You also get the sense of desperate tragedy felt by the characters.
