Like FG1 said "this is a great adventure"! In my opinion the Best of the Allan Quartermain movies but there are MORE movies! They are all good, fun, funny, and full of action! As for the review for those who have not seen the movie before. It is an older movie but holds up well as it is set in a diferent time. Allan and his love are about to leave the African lands to travle to America for their wedding. When an old friend half dead with feaver shows up with an artifact and the possibility that Quartermain's brother (lost and presumed dead) could be alive. Allen goes searching for his brother and picks up a small band of people to help him search. The adventure of getting to the lost city is nothing compaired to the chalenge that awaits him once he finds it. Slavery, ritual sacrifice, dipping human beings in molten Gold as a grusomely expediant way of making gold statues and other dangers await him at his destination.
