Description

Violet (Alexis Bledel, Sin City) and Daisy (Saoirse Ronan, Hanna) are a pair of gum-cracking teenage assassins who casually snuff out crime figures in New York City, distracted only by the fact that a concert by their favorite pop idol Barbie Sunday has suddenly been canceled. Determined to raise cash for a pair of Barbie Sunday dresses, the duo takes on a new hit job, only to face a reckoning in the form of a mysterious loner (James Gandolfini, The Sopranos). He catapults the hit girls into an odyssey far beyond the world of Barbie Sunday and bullets for pay. From Academy Award Winning screenwriter Geoffrey Fletcher (Precious) comes a mesmerizing hybrid of New York City crime fable and powerful coming-of-age tale. In Violet & Daisy, teenage kicks match wits with adult-world turmoil, as three lost souls face their most formidable foes—themselves.

Violet and Daisy have the ability to kill in an inhuman way ,but they use that power very wisely. Stunning, Original, and Sour, are perfect ways to describe this film. Ronan and Gandolfini never let you down, especially in Violet and Daisy because just after meeting they have a daughter and father relationship. Fletcher has a vision and he made his vision into an artistic film like nothing else.
