Everything that a satire should be, this is a blindingly funny critique of extremism of any brand, and certainly the funniest film to come out of Britain in the last twenty years. Chris Morris is absolutely fearless as the creative force behind this masterpiece. You won't be disappointed.

some moments of chuckle, mostly meh

Reading other reviews might give you the idea that this movie is some kind of funny comedy romp about 4 bumbling guys who want to be terrorist but fail. That’s not what it is about. While the trip to becoming a terrorist group it fought with what could be considered amusing setbacks the end result is watching innocent people being killed. If you just want to be amused, watch up to the point were they are putting on the costumes and stop there.

vaudeville for terrorism ! ! ! ! too soon ?!?!? -not hardly…., i am not saying that the vernon that hurt the naive and the innocent pawns should not be eradicated from the face of the earth immediately- if not sooner………, but i laughed so hard i hurt myself and had too stop watching………, and then watch it over and over again !!!!! DO NOT MISS the rocket launcher !!!!!! Oh my Holy Hell !!!!!

This movie deftly dances on a knife edge. The three-stooges antics of the protagonists is very well done--this is a genuinely funny movie. Yet the misguided motives of all involved weigh heavier and heavier even as the laughs keep on coming. In the end, no one is spared of futility. Very unusual comedy--I can't think of another movie to compare it to.

One of the best movies I have ever seen

I couldn't stop laughing, every time I thought, what happens next? Something unspeakably hilarious would happen. The best comedy critique of the war on terror I have ever seen and I have seen a few. One should also bear in mind that according to official after action reports that the real terrorists aren't much different from the bungling idiots seen here. Personally I think this might make a good training tool for spotting terrorists.

Although this movie had a sad ending the rest of it was filled with laughter. Honesty this movie is a must see. FYI there is cursing which in the case of this movie only added to the it I would say 14 and up
