I recommend watching the first one, Storm Riders, before you watch this one. The story line in this one is good and the pictures/CGI's are amazing! Don't ever watch a foreign film dubbed, watch in original language with subtitles. The dubbed version will ruin the movie for you.

Totally Awsome Movie! I could preach several sermons off this one! Awsome graphix. Excellent Action. If they ever make a live action FFVII movie, I want these guys to do it! I rented it thinking I was going to get your standard Martial arts film and got my mind blown by this movie! It is a must see! Attacks and Powers that I've been looking for in kung fu flims for years! The only thing I have against it is, there are two parts in the movie where it all slows down for a few mins, but then it goes right back at it!

This is actually the sequal to another movie called the Storm Riders or something like that. I never watched the first one, but wish I had because it would have helped me know the characters a lot better. The only weakness of this movie is that the characters were not developed strong enough for me. And the plot was a bit confusing - even though it was very simple. Some of the characters are out to destroy this man who is trying to do something bad... won't tell it all here. But, what I wish, is that they would actually show what the characters are fighting to prevent.... or fighting to stop... for instance... is the bad guy ruthless toward the average person in a random good for nothing village? I don't know. This may not be relevant... but was an element I thought would have been good to include (if you do not follow me... please ignore and read on) However.... the action and effects were really good. some parts could have been a little better or a little more fluid... some of the battles scenes seemed a bit uneasy. Don't let the negativity hear keep you from discovering a movie you might possibly learn to love. But... if you can you might want to watch the first one. If not, you will still enjoy the action. Overall, I really liked the movie.

I was expecting a "decent" or hopefully "OK" martial arts flick. Instead, I got this absolute masterpiece! It's part 300, part Matrix, part Final Fantasy, all action. One piece of advice: DO NOT watch it with english overdubs...it then becomes a one star movie. Watch it in the original language with English subtitles. This film WILL NOT disappoint you!
