The reaons why there are such two distinct groups of reviewers here has little to do with a critique that is based on style or taste. It has to do with beliefs. Sure style and belief are akin but the truth is relative to something being absolute and correctness is the new "truth" because of political polarization. We have been so imbued with political correctness via the "court" of our land = the press, that we are fish in water and unaware that truth has evaporated in a correctness fed by artificial entitlements that we grow out of the same thin air that we have our feet firmly planted in. This film is about reinstallation of the realities that our artificial society has removed. Removed by an economy created to do so. The Secret is another way to say "Self" and remove us from the the understanding that putting self in that position is the narcissism that our very constitution was created to avoid. Great attempt. But mosts are way too sleepy.zzzzzzzzzz

Do not buy this video or even waste your time renting it. It's a waste of your money. It tries to imitate "The Secret," in concept, but attempts to give a Christian based perspective and fails miserably in delivery. The quality of this video leaves much to be desired, with mismatched cutaways, repeated cutaways, awkward jump cuts, a distractingly fake background, and an uninspiring speaker. If you're looking for something to enhance what you learned in "The Secret" that is Christian based, you're better off turning to authors like Joel Osteen and Lisa Nichols.

Being a Christain even I found this movie a rip off of the The Secret. I do beleive that God put laws in place on how this world works and how we, his creation, reacts to it. I believe that God created us to create our lives and "blessings" to more of how The Secret project it. Be positive and focus on what you want and you will attract what you think about. As God says in the Bible, "As a person thinks, so is he/she." The Secret Things of God however is a total waste of money.

Why after all the negative reviews and press does iTunes insist on featuring this movie in the # 1 Slot (prime real estate)... Peeps - don't waste your money.

There's been a tendency of the evangelical community of the last 8 or so years to try and tap into current social trends by branding themselves as something other than what they are. This film is no different. It intentionally misleads the users into believing they are going to be watching something related to the The Law of Attraction. What they get instead is what in the business world is called "bait and switch." That alone disqualifies every moral precept put forward in the Sermon that is this movie, and should be resulting in law suits. All that said, as a piece of propaganda ( in the traditional sense ) this is a masterwork. Really very well done. It taps into the memes that attract people to another belief system and I believe does a reasonable job of redirecting them. Truth is, this kind of thing isn't intended for people who hold strong beliefs it's audience is people standing on the borderline of world views and I think it does an excellent job of psycologiclally manipulating them. Good film to study but morally bankrupt.

I thought this movie was very good. If you are searching for a relationship with God this will aid you. Your $4 will be well worth it. The actors in the movie seem somewhat put on, but listen to the message. Dr. Cloud is for real. You will benefit immensely from his message.

The negative reviews seem to have missed the message of this film. If you are comfortable with your life today then continue to do the same things you have always done, or, hear the words in this film and follow the blue print, the road map it gives you, and take it to a better place. It is about choice, yours can be more of the same or it can be new choices, either way you will get what you are thinking about.
