Description

Fallen angel Sammael has claimed the midworld in the name of darkness. With the help of his menacing, gun-toting task force, he has smothered the dark, dreary city in vice, violence and cruelty. Sammael's victory is assured--until the arrival of Gabriel, the last of Heaven's seven archangels. Gabriel is young, strong and the mightiest warrior seen since Michael, his predecessor, disappeared. In no time, Gabriel's bravery and skill threaten to decimate Sammael's evil henchmen and redeem Jade, the lost angel with the heart of gold. But Sammael has one last card to play: the secret of his own past, the knowledge of which could destroy Gabriel forever.

This movie looks like it came from the imagination of a teen age boy who got picked on his entire life. It was absolutely horrible. If you have a teen age son and he's quiet and reclusive and you want to know what's going on in his mind then watch this crap. This is what your teen age son is day dreaming about. Not horror at all.

Pure crap. I waited for something cool to happen, then the movie finally ended, removing me from 2 hours of misery. Maybe that is the point of this movie. You feel like you are in hell as you watch.

Poor cinematograpy! Interesting story of angels, with a real cheesy filming. Must have been an extra low budget movie. Acting was bad. The bad angel wasn't very scary Take the same story, build the characters complexity better. Some back story would be nice and make the bad angels real scary and you'd have a hit.

This is a B movie at best. $500 set budget and lousy close ups on actors that can't pull it off. Weak story line and weaker special effects. I mean, really?

Andy played the role of Spartacus on the Starz Original Series, "Spartacus: Blood and Sand". The series was a hit, but Andy was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma in 2010. He died at the age of 40 in September of 2011. This movie was filmed before Spartacus while Andy was still relatively unknown. It was his first major movie. It's a good movie, worth watching if you like the genre.
  • Artiness doesn't make up for cluelessness.

Amazingly bad. Relies on a deus ex machina to get Gabriel out of trouble. It has absolutely clueless angels, and caricatured personalities.

I fell in love with Andy Whitfield in this movie. He was an amazing actor, and for having been such a low budget film, he really brought his character of the Archangel Gabriel to live. That being said, I was devastated to hear of his death to Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma last week. Hollywood has lost a great, untapped talent in him and he will be missed by those that both loved him and followed his work. May he Rest in Peace. We love you Andy and we're going to miss you like hell. You were truly one of the greats.

please disregard any of the previous comments about this movie being anyway near worthwhile. bad acting, terrible effects, an awful plot, with a nonsense ending. Rent this only if you feel like wasting 2 hours of your life.
