A darkly funny and unconventional love story between a man and a woman who doesn't want to come out of a monkey suit. Jane (Nina Conti) creates a new persona of 'Monkey' when she disappears into costume. She strives to break free from the trauma of a toxic relationship when she encounters a suicidal radio show host, Roy (Shenoah Allen), who 'presents a path to freedom'. Together, the unlikely pair go on a road trip and find solace in each other.
