I wish people would actually review the movie instead of ranting about Tim Allen or how their delicate sensibilities could not handle a non-standard family being shown on the screen. If a 2 mom’s family causes you this much discomfort, you may want to learn to grow a thicker skin and educate yourself that there are other types of families out there. Yes there are single parent families, adoptive families, families of divorce, foster families, and (yes get ready to clutch those pearls) even families with gay parents. If you didn’t like this movie because of the movie itself (plot, acting, etc) that is certainly a valid review but so many “reviews” are based solely on bigotry. It’s a shame it was a good movie and my family enjoyed it.

The good: I loved the action and the animation. The bad: They should make a version with Alisha Hawthorn’s lesbian wife replaced by a straight husband. Not to spoil the movie, but I didn’t like the backstory of Zurg - why don’t the other critics mention that? And Hollywood is depicting men as weak. Feminism is the downfall of our society? No wonder it bombed the box office! If only they brought back Buzz Lightyear of Star Command - that was underrated. The OK: Unlike the other critics, I don’t mind that they replaced Tim Allen. I hope the LGBTQ+ agenda suffers the same fate as the hippie culture of the late 60’s, and for another (seventh?) Great Awakening to occur with Millennials and Gen-Z. Watch Jesus Revolution to see what I mean.
  • Very bad stand-alone movie.

Disney plummeted this hero flick down the crapper. Tim Allen was replaced, two broads birthing a child, and a pointless plot. I will stick with the Toy Story saga instead. Worth saving Pixar than this poetic stripe of junk.

Kids need to be taught the difference between male and female and nothing in between at early age. HUGE mistake with lesbian family scene. Where is this world going? Unreal
