Shock and Awe

…Tell lies often enough and too many people believe. The case for war was all lies.

This movie is a must. Another commenter mentioned that if you like Lions for Lambs, you’ll be disappointed. Not true. Both excellent movies. Serious tone. Otherwise I’d pair it with Pentagon Wars for relevant and informative movie. Does pair with Official Secrets in somber tone, subject, and value. My only disappointment is I only rented this based on the lower review scores instead of buying it.

Excellent film about the true narrative avoided by mainstream press and the public leading up to our invasion of Iraq under G.W. Bush’s presidency. False patriotism was used by our government as tool post 9/11. Facts are facts.

Waste of money ... trying to justify their biased crap. Journalist should only be able to state facts, not their opinions that they think are true.

Many people seem to view this movie according to their political orientation. To me it seems a thoughtful presentation of the facts from the viewpoint of the reporters for the Knight Ridder newspaper chain. It seemed a factual presentation, and was well done.

Had to turn it off. Reiner is so bad it’s laughable.

Captures the best or rather only journalists who capture the reality of the situation.

Lol makes 41k in its opening weekend even the Democrats passed on this dog...
