I am obsessed with this film! I grew up loving Footloose and Fame and Flashdance - any movie that chronicled dancers lives. But now as a new mom struggling to balance career and family, THIS movie struck such a chord. The journey of these characters is so relatable. Sometimes heartbreaking and always beautiful! I'm so happy it's finally available to own on iTunes so that I can share with my girlfriends.
Jayce Bartok: Director to Watch

Fall to Rise is a beautiful film. Writer and Director, Jayce Bartok, has a natural insight into writing complex female stories that can relate to us all. Daphne Rubin Vega and Katherine Crockett are a perfect pair- equally strong & equally flawed. I loved every second. This is not just a film about a dancer who wants to return to the stage; it is a truly beautiful representation of two women coming together and building one another up despite their pasts, circumstances, & futures.
