Description

Nowhere Girl is a charming, funny and heartfelt story about how falling in love can be exhilarating but also a bit crazy. After Tyler (Josh Robert Thompson) meets Katy (Ilana Guralnik) he finally starts to shake off the lingering effects of a bad break-up and she inspires him to do more and be more than the life he had settled into. At first his friends Michelle and Justin (Jennifer Aspen and David O'Donnell) think this is a wonderful change, but cracks in this new relationship start to show and they begin thinking it's unhealthy. But just what is “unhealthy” when it comes to a relationship and just who gets to decide these things?

It has everything you want in a good movie. You'll get those happy, sad, and funny moments. We have all met someone in which we picture the perfect relationship in our minds. Well written and all the acting is fantastic. Look out for Josh Robert Thompson, the man is an incredible talent. He really brings this character to life and makes you pull for the crazy guy in love with an imaginary woman. You all must watch this now.

Great to see JRT getting to do something beyond his excellent voice work. Great, witty film. Needs an orchestral score in a few places, but it does not bring the film down.

Hey guys! Looking for a chick flick that won't make your skin crawl? Look no further. A fun idea with several interesting twists along the way.The production is beautifully executed especially considering they shot it inside of two weeks. Especially gratifying to see Josh Robert Thompson get to headline his first motion picture. Josh is best known for his work on Craig Ferguson's Late Late Show as Geoff Peterson, Craig's robot skeleton sidekick. He is also one of the best impressionist/ voice actors working today. This film presented a challenge in that he wasn't playing everything for laughs. His character emerges fully formed and thoroughly believable. He also manages to bring numerous laughs despite his character's lack of punch lines. The entire cast and crew deserve high praise for the quality of work they squeezed out of very little time and a shoestring budget. Fun and full of heart! I need to watch more independent films. Rent it for a stay at home date night. Your girlfriend will be impressed with you, and you'll enjoy it, too!

This wasn't like the movies where you know what is going to happen next. It had unusual twists you didn't expect and the actors were great and I really love how it ended. It's an indie film so it doesn't have all the polish that a major motion picture has and that is what makes it fun.
