This is one of my very favorite films ever and it is very beautiful, inspiring, and takes you on a magical journey. I’ve always loved the 60’s and this film has always and will always remain in my heart and soul. Wonderful performances, captivating story. I highly recommend this movie to anyone who hasn’t seen it. 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Best Movie ever!!!

I first saw this film when I was a young adult or early teenager (when it was released I imagine) and loved it. I searched for it for years after and couldn't find it anywhere. I remember asking iTunes to add it several years ago (when you could still request films) and was so happy when they did. I've had it ever since and still watch it over and over.
There is adult content and adult issues are broached (teen pregnancy) but I thought it was nicely done. I wasn't alive in the '60's (decade movie takes place) but it seemed more realistic than what's on tv now.
The real tragedy is the music in the film is great but cannot be found or downloaded anywhere. The best song and my favorite is Lisa Fischer's version of "Ruler of my Heart". The soundtrack is long gone and none of the music apps can recognize the song. Oh well, I'll always love the film and music.
**BONUS: A very young Katherine Heighl and Eliza Dushku star in the film. **
