Lady Loki is expected to be another major “variant” in the series. Marvel Studios has cast Sophia Di Martino in the series with an undisclosed role, but rumors suggest that she could be the female version of Loki.
Behind-the-scenes photos later show the actress wearing an outfit resembling Loki’s. Plus, all expectations are that Lady Loki herself is the variant under the mysterious cloak in the first episode of the series. The trailer for ‘Loki’ is almost exclusively about the first episode and has not revealed much about the appearance of this character. Her appearance was further bolstered after the show confirmed Loki has a “flexible” gender, meaning the character can take on different forms – like Lady Loki – like in the comics.
