Part 2 of Birds of Prey probably won’t be announced at the moment, but so far, according to Margot Robbie, anything is possible.
2020 is supposed to be an important year for female-led blockbusters. The most interesting of them all is Birds of Prey by Margot Robbie. Starring the actress as Harley Quinn alongside a host of heroines, Birds of Prey was praised by critics for its humor and beautiful action.

Unfortunately, despite attracting a loyal fan base, the film failed to do any magic at the box office. In a recent interview with Den of Geek, Margot Robbie was asked about the Birds of Prey sequel, saying:
“I don’t know if that will happen anytime soon. I don’t think the answer is no. But currently, no sequels to the works I know of have been announced at this stage.”
While the title isn’t as ‘doing business’ as Warner Bros would have liked, Harley Quinn is still one of their most popular characters. Despite mixed reactions to 2016’s Birds of Prey and Suicide Squad, fans generally agree that Robbie’s portrayal of Harley Quinn in both films is brilliant and they need more.
Of course, Robbie’s Harley will appear in The Suicide Squad sequel/reboot. In a previous interview, the actress explained that this time, Harley won’t have to shoulder the main role of the plot herself. The film is slated to release in August this year.
