Atlanta, Season 3

Apple is not always good at giving you released episodes in a timely manner, but now that this season has ended and all episodes are available, I’m comfortable changing my review to the five stars this season deserves

This show has been on another level this season. Really shows Donald Glovers skill as a director/writer. Absolutely a piece of art.

I loved the first two seasons of Atlanta, and waited forever for season 3 to come back. I made it 3 episodes in and gave up. Remember how there was a plot? Remember how we were following Earn, and Lottie, and the crew? Each episode starts with someone we don't know, and ends with someone we don't know. Every episode is about racism. It's fine to include themes like that. The first two seasons did, and did it masterfully. This is heavy handed, with no additional plot. Just sad.

I received a notification for a new episode of Atlanta on ABC. Where's episode 6?

Show keeps getting better and growing.

Atlanta is one of those shows where you can’t point out an event and say “well this show did that better,” and that’s because Atlanta doesn’t do things that have been done in other shows.
