Description

"There's no place like home..." Entirely remastered, the colorful characters and unforgettable songs of Oz come alive as never before. This magical cinematic event finds Kansas farm girl Judy Garland ("A Star is Born," "Meet Me in St. Louis") caught in a tornado and magically transported to the Land of Oz. Needing help to return home, she is told to follow the Yellow Brick Road and find the powerful Wizard (Frank Morgan). On her perilous journey, she is befriended by the Scarecrow (Ray Bolger), the Tin Man (Jack Haley), and the Cowardly Lion (Bert Lahr) who help her battle the Wicked Witch of the West (Margaret Hamilton) and her flying monkeys. Based on the classic book by Frank L. Baum, "The Wizard of Oz" is a dazzling motion picture achievement, featuring unforgettable songs (including Oscar-winner "Over the Rainbow"), scenery, and costumes. The film had 5 Academy Award nominations, and Garland was awarded a special Oscar for her outstanding performance.

  • Worst tornado movie EVER!!!

This is by far the WORST tornado movie in the world. There is only one tornado and it is only on screen for less than a minute. The main characters don't even chase the storm, instead they go off looking for some wizard while singing and dancing rather than preparing for the next storm. The original Twister is by far the best tornado movie, even Supercell is better than this movie, and that isn't exactly a good tornado movie either. And don't even think about the new Twisters movie, it is just a clone copy remake made for the woke crowd.

The Wizard of Oz reigns supreme as one of the greatest films of all time. It is my personal favorite non-Disney films and has become my idol for films with melt movies.

I have loved this movie ever since I was a child. It is my up most favorite movie of all time. I know line by line perfectly by heart. I have been wanting to own this movie but I never have until today when it became on sale for $10 thru iTunes. It’s my first movie I bought thru my Apple TV.

I would have preferred the original . . . But, no, they had to make it so that everything had to be explained by a third person. It’s as if it’s for the blind. It’s ruined.
