Let me start by saying, “Don’t listen to the bad reviews. Those people can’t appreciate a good story.” This movie is well done. It takes you on a journey that is worth taking. The movie takes place in a time in the future after wars or other occurrences have impacted the worlds climate. A new technology that was developed during the wars allows people to revisit their dreams. This technology is the key to the story and through it you are walked through a narrative by the lead character as he unravels what happened to a woman he fell in love with. Watch it to find out what happened to her and how it ties to the situation of the greater society around him.

I didn’t know a movie could be so bad. Seriously impressed. Would give this zero stars if possible.
  • Good Detective Futuristic Thriller

This movie was really good. The actors were amazing and the story was a detective love story/thriller vibe to it. The plot is a slow burner but its very interesting once things start to untangle. I enjoyed the concept presented in the film were they can revisit past events to look for clues. This is very reminiscent of the Batman Arkham games detective mode. This is a good film with a good love story, anyone who had a problem with the story is clueless of what was about or couldn’t keep up. This film will probably go down and of those good “Underrated” films. Just watch it if you like detective/love/thriller stories. If you are an action junky with low attention spam then skip this one.

Personally, I think this movie gets way too much hate. It’s an intriguing idea with good acting, though the dialogue does stumble in certain places and the pacing struggles to keep you involved throughout. But the final act makes up for all that, with a beautiful resolution that fits the story.
  • Just Awful

Slow, boring, and there must be 12 different poor, exposition-filled voiceovers by Hugh Jackman here. I was irritated by the 3rd one. Just atrocious, my advice is to steer well clear of this film. The premise was fantastic for sure, but the execution was a catastrophe.

Don’t let the trolls keep you from watching this movie. It’s entertaining. An interesting apocalyptic story of love, mystery and many twists. Acting is great, story is solid and the cast has incredible chemistry. Friends and family enjoyed it.
